But dont get too ahead of your self. Most trees are flowering at the same time or closer togather. It makes for a pretty spring season with bursts of many items flowering at the same time instead of a longer 6 weeks or more with fewer things blooming at any one time. Its still too early to plant anual flowers though. Normal safe dates for last frost of the season is May 15th in St Louis and I suspect that will be much earlier this year, but could still late April. If you want to plant prior to that just be in a position to cover tender annuals if a frost comes thru.
